Langara Golf Course

This circa-1926 course was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway, but is now owned and operated by the City of Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation. Canadian-born architect Thomas McBroom oversaw a modern renovation that preserves the mature trees, but features rebuilt greens and bunkers.

Practice facilities include a warm-up net and large putting green as well as a short-game area in a beautiful setting among mature trees.

In 2004, all three of the City of Vancouver's public courses received designation as Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries.

Love playing Langara. Big open fairways allow you to bomb away, very user friendly. Some of the straight par 4's get a little boring, but overall it's a fun course.
