River Course
Greg Norman's first Caribbean design rolls 6,945 yards along the Mameyes River, framed by vistas of mountains and sea around this Puerto Rico golf resort. Norman preserved native foliage and let the natural terrain determine placement of all holes. Ideal for players of all skill levels, the design features wide fairways, open greens, shallow bunkers and light rough. Typical of Norman's courses, all 18 holes can rate the title of "signature."

The Ocean Course at the Rio Mar is a delightful golfing experience. It is considered the less difficult course of the two but it still has plenty of fight. Course maintenance is above average, the Cart GPS systems take away a lot of the guess work and the course staff is by far the most welcoming and accommodating of any course IGÇÖve played. As an added bonus the course is filled to brim with local wildlife. Iguanas, turtles and birds of all sizes greet you throughout your round. I look forward to playing this Fazio design the next time IGÇÖm in Puerto Rico.
