An okay course for the price. Cart barn recently burnt down so now they use gas carts. Greens are starting to deteriorate. Fairways are dried grass and dirt. Poorly maintained. They are however working on their drainage problems. Don't take anybody that just wants to ride with you, they will charge you an extra $10 just for somebody to sit on a cart that is already gonna be going around the course. <--- Yes, I'm a little bitter about that.

1st lets say it has been a while since i played here. and yes it s not a bad deal for the money but comeon tee boxes need to be level.. i always feel like i am leaning to one side as for the greeens today they were very good ... fairways lack maintenance..but if ya wanting somewhere to play that isnt 15000. dollars then this is your place..but yeah for as the 10 dollar rider fee ...that blows..i mean from the ppl that own the pit come on show a lil more ... the average joe who cant afford 120.00 to play around at the pit put a lil more into the course keep it reasonable ... and ya never know we ( the average joe just might get some lil extra cash an wanna play the pit at some point )...

The Bluff is a working mans course. No frills, just basic golf. Wide open fairways and nice size greens make this a very playable course. It is now operated by The Maples Group who also have The Pit and Longleaf in the Sandhills area. With time and putting some money and effort into this course it will be a better facility
