Putnam Country Club is an 18 hole, par 72, 6169 yard layout golf course open to the public since 1994. It has been ranked in the top 100 New England Golf Courses by the New England Journal of Golf.

A fun course to play, Putnam is rural and carved out of a wooded area with gently rolling terrain. The greens are undulating and some are slightly elevated. Water hazards (six ponds) come into play on two holes. Hole #18, a 521-yard, par 5, is the most scenic and offers a view of the entire valley.
