1 Whittington Way
Middletown, DE 19709-7906, United States
This parkland-style course includes water on six holes and 58 bunkers, as well as some sculpted greens and mounding that are meant to echo elements of Scottish-style courses. With the exception of Kentucky Bluegrass rough, the course is seeded with bent-grass tee-to-green. Architectural partners David Horn and Allen Liddicoat designed this course, which opened in 2000.
The in-season rates are $48 weekdays and $55 weekends. Various junior, senior, and twilight discounts are also offered, as are memberships.

No other golfers on the course so we played extra balls when we wanted. Cold so hitting the ball was like hitting rocks.

Do. Not. Get. Above. The. Hole.
Played again 8/2. Course is in horrible and deteriorating condition. Most fairways about half regular and half burnt hardpan, not grass. Rangers do absolutely nothing about the sloooooow pace of play.

Tough day. Course is a challenge. The greens are FAST and undulating. Main defense of the course. it was windy as hell so made the day a bit of a chore. Overall, I like the course and would play it again. 3 of the par 5 played down wind which was fun to go for them in 2.

We played with a twosome that was from this area. They mentioned that the greens usually play around a 12. They were about a 10 today. We had to wait on the foursome in front of us every hole. They were 3-4 putting! Faster greens will not make for faster play that’s for sure!!!

Fun course that takes a little getting used to. Plays completely different when the wind is up.
