21 Golf Links Drive
Aurora, ON L1M2H2, Canada
Carved from dense pine and cedar trees, 18-hole Highland Gate Golf Club will be a beautiful and challenging test of golf.
Highland Gate's original layout was designed in 1930 by Stanley Thompson, one of Canada's greatest golf architects. Highland Gate's tree-lined fairways and waterways place a premium on accuracy and the greens are heavily bunkered as per Thompson's style.
The new clubhouse includes seating capacity for approximately 60 Members inside the bistro and a patio overlooking the 18th hole which will accommodate approximately 40 Members.
A renovated halfway house facility with washrooms and patio has also been added at the 10th tee.

Tight course through lots of houses. If you're not hitting it straight it will be a tough day. Tricked up rules - no drivers on 2...there are much better places to play

An average course, but very fun!
Plays very narrow and forces you to think about club selection in order to score well.
Houses are VERY close to the fairways and get in your head.
Some houses may be blasting music that mess with your tempo.
Greens on this day were extremely slow, took a while to learn.
Clubhouse is on the other side of a street from the hidden parking lot and hole #1... Weird.
Basically no pro shop either.
Hmmmm... Maybe I should be dropping this score below a 3?

Very nice course. Usually not too busy. On the short side in distance but can be very narrow. Always have a good time here.
