Also known as the "Donner Par-3", Cypress Greens is a 9-hole course that is part of a community center. Also on-site are a full-size baseball field, an indoor basketball gym / reception hall, two tennis courts, a picnic area and large playground for children.
The complex is located just south of U.S. Highway 90, southwest of Thibodeaux.

As for value, it really isn't applicable since this is a free course. Seriously, it is laid out and kept up pretty well by either the Donner Community Center or the Parish it is in (Terrebonne). I played here three times last year and twice this week, each time in mid- to late-afternoon, and I might have seen a total of ten other golfers on the course.
Here are the distances of each of the nine holes at Cypress Greens:
#1 - 105 yds. (water hazard before green, kids playground to the left)
#2 - 128 yds. (water hazard right of fairway and beyond green, very little real estate to keep your ball dry here)
#3 - 92 yds. (see note on hole #9 below, this green is seriously close to the 9th green)
#4 - 206 yds. (wide open to left with trees all along the right side of fairway)
#5 - 138 yds. (trees surrounding hole to the left of the green, not overly challenging)
#6 - 95 yds. (no hazards, just some overgrown grass in the fairway and along the right side of this green)
#7 - 110 yds. (some trees almost directly above the tee box and several yards outward, hazardous for anyone who hits a short iron with a lot of height)
#8 - 105 yds. (least hazardous hole on the course, just a few trees to the left of the green which aren't too concerning)
#9 - 128 yds. (nothing too tricky about this hole either, pretty straight forward and one of the easiest for this golfer to play with a 7-iron for the tee shot; no hazards to mention, but the 3rd green is extremely close to the 9th green, not more than a dozen or so yards from one another)
