This course is noted for having host qualifiers for both the PGA Tour's Doral and Honda tournaments, as well as U.S. Amateur and Mid-Amateur qualifying. Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin did the original design when the course opened in 1969 as Emerald Hills Country Club. Architect Charles Ankrom oversaw a redesign in 1989, when the club was renamed by new ownership. Water is in play on twelve holes, while the greens were re-seeded with TifEagle Bermuda in 2000.
Rates vary by season and are posted on the club's web site.

This is amongst the best courses I have ever played. Very tough but well designed with smooth, slick, greens and long water carries on eight holes. Very little roll on the fairways, so best to keep your ego in your pocket and play from shorter tees than you usually would. For $58.00 the value can't be beat.
