West Byfleet, N7 KT14 6AA, United Kingdom
Although West Byfleet Golf Club was formed in 1922, the course was originally laid down in 1904 by Cuthbert Butchart, a professional golfer of that era, whose other design work included Worplesdon, West Hill, Hunstanton and some work at Royal County Down. The members purchased the course in 1922 from Hugh Locke-King and changed the name from Bleakdown to West Byfleet. Although the odd hole has been lost and others changed, the majority of the course remains faithful to the original design.
Visitors and societies are welcome on weekdays only; the visitor walking rates are £55/round or £80/day for adults, £26/round or £39/day for juniors. Guests of members and Surrey County card-holders also enjoy various discounts.
