Whisper Lake Country Club

Whisper Lake. It's only a par 64, but it's a challenging, picturesque and rewarding par 64. The greens are, shall we say, immaculate.

The fairways are … hmmm, incredible. And the fact that you can leave the driver in the bag is, shall we say, a pleasant change of pace. The catch phrase for golf is, “drive for show, putt for dough.” Well, at Whisper Lake the show opens with a solid iron off of most tees. And if you can putt confidently, you will walk away with the dough (sailor's bets, of course). Sure, the long hitters can drive a par 4 or two, but it's the smart golfer who can pick and hit his landing area carefully and will drive off with the low round of your foursome.
