This 9-hole course is perched on the edge of Lake Sakakawea near the town of Riverdale, which was originally constructed to house the workers building the nearby Garrison Dam. The course is operated and managed by local volunteers, and for maintenance and weather-related issues, the greens are of artificial turf. (Riverdale is also part of the Lewis & Clark Golf Trail marketing consortium.)
The standard walking rates are $10 for nine, $15 for 18 both on weekdays and weekends.

Just a small town golf course. Greens are basically cement with some turf and sand on them. Makes for some difficult chipping and putting. The fairways, which are huge as they basically mow the entire course, are rock hard because of the dry ground. But there are rarely people golfing and it's cheap so overall it's not a bad way to scratch the golf itch and burn a couple hours.

This course is not maintained on a regular basis, the fairways aren't watered so the "prairie grass" is brown. The ground is usually as hard as a rock. The greens are some all-weather carpet laid out with a hole placed in it.
I would not use any nice equipment on this course.
Very few people are ever on the course and if you want to kill some time on a summer day, why not?
I typically drive to Hazen, Underwood or Garrison - all of which have nicer courses.
