Manor Golf & Country Club

The Manor represents Tom Watson's first and only course design within the state of Georgia; six tee-boxes stretch this parkland-style course from 5,206 to 7,177 yards.

While this is a private country club, limited non-member tee-times are available with advance booking. The standard visitor walking rates are $69 Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, $79 on Fridays, and $89 on weekends.

I am a former member. When the course was new, the conditions were immaculate and the greens were some of the best bent greens in Georgia. However, the club spent far too much money on the massive (and poorly designed) clubhouse, and the course maintenance budget has suffered (hence the move to open the course to the public). We ended our membership once it became semi-private, but still enjoy playing out there occasionally. The course layout is great (aside from hole 15). It is not a very forgiving course, as missed fairways can run off into thick woods and OB or hazards. I played with a friend who is a 3 index (played golf for FAU), and he lost six balls on the course...he can usually play several rounds without losing a ball. The staff is TOP NOTCH, so that's a big plus!!

I live in Dallas and was amazed at the views and elevation changes. The course was in great shape and was well maintained.

Hot and humid, wear lite colors!! Rental clubs were very nice set of Titleist irons and woods with Scotty Cammeron putter.
Greens were true and a fun course to play.

The views on this course are incredible. Golfers are rewarded when shots are placed in idea locations of each hole. The greens are udulated and although they were recently aerified, you can tell they are normally good and fast. Definitely a MUST PLAY....

This is the only Tom Watson designed Golf course in Georgia. This eighteen hole masterpiece is is indeed world-class. Each hole is adventurous, yet playable. The entire course is perfectly manicured and maintained. I have played this course many times and each time I come back admiring the landscape, the scenery and the overall experience.
