I agree with previous comments. Course is in incredible shape. Amenites (sp?) are top notch, water and cooler in cart with club and ball cleaner. Practice area is superb. Get to the course hours before tee time and use their practicing facilities. Putting is crucial. Example of green speeds. I lipped out a 5 foot birdie putt and ended up 12 feet from the hole. I was also putting up hill on the first putt.

This course could easily be a top 10 course in the Mid Atlantic. Good layout forcing all different kinds of shots, conditions were well above average. My primary complaint with this course was the greens - virtually unplayable. They were in great shape, but the course really needs to either remove some of the undulation or allow them to grow in a bit so that they don't play so ridiculously fast. In one instance, I dropped a ball on the green and it rolled 30yds away without being touched!

This is by far the best course in the Bedford/ Altoona area. The greens are superb and the rest of the course is well maintained and manicured. An extremely fun track to play with a wide range of holes that forces you to use every club in your bag. Well worth the drive from Pittsburgh, Morgantown, or Harrisburg to stay and play in the beautifully renovated resort and championship course. A little pricey for the area, but worth every penny!!
