This attractive parkland-style course rolls and tumbles over the Stirling & Falkirk countryside, with views of Stirling Castle available on most holes. While golf has been played here at least since 1869, although Old Tom Morris formally designed the first nine holes here in 1892. Then in 1967, three-time Open Championship winner Sir Henry Cotton completely redesigned the course and oversaw the planting of many deciduous trees.
Visitors are welcome here, although advance booking is recommended. The standard visitor walking rates are £35/round or £52/day on weekdays, and £40/round on weekends. (Carts/buggies are £20/round.)
