This course is part of the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte. While the course allows public access, the practice facilities are only for hotel guests playing the course. Teaching professional Dana Rader also has an operation here.
This course should not be confused with the private Ballantyne Country Club, which is a separate entity.

Other than the 97 degree temp with high humidity it was a really cool day playing this track. Excellent conditions, greens were fast and challenging. Well worth the price.

This place is incredible. You could never play a course this nice in California for the measly $60 we payed to play. Every hole was manicured to perfection. And each hole is fairly secluded, so you don't see any other players on the course. I compare it to Indian Wells. The designs felt similar. Just a fraction of the cost though.
I was there while Quail Hallow PGA Tour was taking place. All the pro's were staying here. I sat at the bar next to Angel Cabrera, saw Stewart Cink playing with his son. Saw Rory checking in at the front desk. Pretty cool. Great staff. Super friendly. I can't wait to get back.
Only two complaints. Some of the fairways were hardpan, and I really don't like playing on Bermuda, but that's my problem. The greens were insane. I loved every minute of it.

The course is well maintained but the facility is top notch. However, the pace of play is horrible and in my opinion the course layout is very boring.

Beautiful course, I played with a business threesome for the front 9, then played the back solo. Seemed like we were the only ones on the course!
