Decent 9 hole course. Although short the rough is thick and punishing and the winds provide challenge even on short holes. The $90 price is a bit steep but if your on vacation and want to get 9 holes in it is well maintained and adequate.

While not a real long course, even from the tips, it is still a challenge. The grounds are beautifly maintained and the staff friendly. I'm not sure its worth the money for a nine hole course. But if you want to play on one of the best Carribean islands vacation spots, this is a good choice..

I must clarify and say that I actually have not played much golf outside of the US and Canada, only about 5 or 6 rounds worth, mostly in Mexico.
I was however, pleasantly surprised by the Links at the Divi Aruba. Perhaps I wasn't expecting much, but I will say that this course definitely was maintained like a smaller country club. The course was almost vacant when I played, and when I was there the week of christmas, I saw very few people playing all week, just a handful of rounds. This could have a lot to do with the fact that they charge $90 to play 9 holes before 12 noon. If you are a guest at the time share however, they allow unlimited golf after 2 pm, which I took full advantage of. But, this course didn't garner green fees worth $10 a hole. It certainly wasn't a La Costa ( http://www.oobgolf.com/courses/course/1088/La_Costa_Resort_Spa.html ), but I would equate it certainly with a University Park ( http://www.oobgolf.com/courses/course/316811/University_Park_Country_Club.html ).
The major drawbacks at Divi were that it only played 3000 yards for 9 holes, it wasn't really a full size course. It wasn't executive sized, but it was certainly not full sized. Secondly, its only 9 holes, this course could be really a full scale operation if they had the land and resources to expand it to 18 holes. Thirdly, the gusty trade winds in the afternoon make some shots impossible. I had certain shots blow 90 yards in one direction and then the very next shot would be straight as an arrow. It was somewhat frustrating after a while.
Overall, I was impressed, certainly worth a visit.
