In addition to a regulation-length par-71 course, RVG also has a walking-only three-hole beginners course.

The course is beautiful, fast greens and clean fairways. The front 9 is open with trouble mostly to your right. It's great for any skill in golf. Its creates a challenge to get up and down from any position. The back 9 give you trouble from every angle. The greens are beautiful. The three finishing holes are par 4's creating a challenge, not one under 450. your cheeks will pucker in the finishing holes if your trying to break par !

Front 9 short but playable. Back 9 better character except 17, a 457 par 4 beyond most white tee players can handle, have no idea what they were thinking of with this hole. 18 considering the difficulty into the green could be a bit shorter for the NORMAL white tee players. If you can handle 420+ par 4's you need to move back to the blue tees. The $4.00 hot dogs are terrible, pencil thin on a cheap bun. Play here because my friends do otherwise I'd be at Dauphin Highlands just for the hotdogs

Very open front nine. Back nine has some character.

I agree with most of indian cowboys commentary except for the last three holes are very challenging and 18 is one of the most challenging holes in the area.

Angelabower was being kind two years ago, and this place still hasn't improved. It's a short, self-proclaimed links-style (Yeah, right) course. The holes are short, but they claim to make up for this by allowing tall, links-style grass to grow. This fails to make the course more challenging. It is grossly overpriced and under-kept. Slow pace of play, always overbooked on tee times. Rich Valley is better suited for an 18-hole par 3 course. They're trying to squeeze way too much out of this tiny space. Staff is not personable and is very unapologetic about their overbooked tee times and high prices. Waste of time. Don't golf here. Ever.

this is a public course that is very fun. wide open on some holes and narrow as well.

The greens are like putting on concrete. You can hit way in front and the ball will roll to the back every time. Also, do no book an outing at this course. They doublebooked the same day as our outing. Our registration was at 12:30 with a 1:30 shotgun start. They did not have any carts available at 12:30 and did not have all the carts available for our outing until 1:15. When complaints were registered, the customers were treated terribly and were harassed by the manager for questioning his methods, of lack thereof, of providing carts. Then, it came time for dinner, which was hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, chips and watermelon. A little over half the players went through the line which consisted of burgers, dogs, and about a half bowl of chips. When this group was just about done eating, the pasta salad and watermelon were then brought out. Despite the manager's claim that they have run many outings and know exactly what to do, this was easily the most disorganized outing that I have ever attended.
