Colt designed at least 13 greens and over 100 bunkers. The course has survived two world wars, including the use of the 14th, 16th, and 17th holes for corn-fields during World War II. The standard visitor walking rates are £35 on weekdays, then £45 on weekend afternoons. Twilight, 9-hole county card-holder, and guest-of-member discounts are also offered.
