Hendon Golf Club

Golf was first played on this site north of London in 1903, while the famous architect Harry S. Colt designed at least 13 greens and over 100 bunkers. The course has survived two world wars, including the use of the 14th, 16th, and 17th holes for corn-fields during World War II.

The standard visitor walking rates are £35 on weekdays, then £45 on weekend afternoons. Twilight, 9-hole county card-holder, and guest-of-member discounts are also offered. Societies and charitable events are also welcome with prior arrangement.

Good test of golf. Can't use driver off every tee which is a nice change.
