The marshall there was an absolute prick.
Course was ok, but definitely not worth the money.

Was surprised that this course being in Alpharetta was not as great as I would have hoped. I understand generating revenue but not allowing personal coolers is never going to help win me over. There is a smaller executive course not far from here that does allow that (Georgia Trail).

They did have cold water at nearly every hole so that was good. The course itself is in so-so condition. The fairways are good but the greens are a little rough and slow.

The marshalls and starters are very nice. The grill people were a little not nice -- wouldn't allow me to purchase a couple of drinks with a cooler unless I put down a $10 deposit -- first time I've ever seen that.

They do give you a tiny bucket with balls (about 25 or so) with green fees. That's a plus. Doesn't have major scenery but what they have is not bad. The pace of play seemed to be decent.

Bottom line: there are some nicer courses (and less expensive ones) closer to me in Lawrenceville, so there's no reason to come to Alpharetta and spend an extra $15 to play here.

Played at 6pm on a Thursday for only $25..basically play till dark. Let me start with the negative...the greens are in terrible shape. They are very slow and patchy...and tons of divots. For the most part, the rest of the course is in decent shape. For those of you who can hit it long and straight, there are a lot of oppurtunities for low scores. Perhaps the greens being in tough shape helps keep scores closer to par.
The staff was very nice and its a great value. I will be making this a frequent after work stop.
