Golf Courses of Lawsonia

Two 18-hole courses are here; the Links Course (1929, William Langford) is the oldest of the two and features the rolling terrain the course name suggests. Likewise, the Woodlands Course (1983, Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore) is a target-style course heavily lined with trees. Both courses are heavily-bunkered.

Walking is permitting only on the Links course, where the rates are $59 weekdays and $90 weekends. On the Woodlands course, the standard fees with a cart are $79 and $90, although twilight and 9-hole rates are also available.

Greens were fantastic, very humbling putting experience. Excellent course design, a classic !

Woodlands Course is equally nice. The greens were in great shape, bunkers were a little packed down, and could use some help. But judging from the load of sand nearby, it looks like they are working on it.

This facility is a great 36 hole experience. One of the best around for miles and worth the trip.

Greens are firm and fast, the traps were in pretty lousy condition for what you pay, but overall; The Links was a challenging course with lots of variety.
