This is the course where Golf Hall of Fame legend, and local Orlando resident, Arnold Palmer won his first PGA Tour event. Mayfair challenges golfers with its strategic layout and the clever positioning of hazards such as greenside bunkers, water and trees. Mayfair is a great course for players of all abilities and skill levels; beginners and novice players will enjoy the shorter length, while the experienced player will be called on to use an array of skillful shots throughout the round.

Golfer Beware!
City of Sanford owns this course and recently hired Integrity Golf Services, LLC, . to run it.

The previous management lessee died and the City initially stated that all memberships would be honored.

However, on 10/23/13 members were "notified " via an unsigned, undated flyer available only at the pro shop that all memberships were being cancelled without cause, effective on 10/27/13.
"Notified" on a Wednesday afternoon and cancelled on Sunday at 6PM. Less than 3 business days notice.

Many members remain unaware that their membership is no longer honored and all members lost money -some had prepaid for several years.

The City of Sanford via its management agent Integrity Golf Services,LLC. breached a contract with members with little notice and without cause. "Integrity " Golf, indeed.

Watch out. You could be next.

All I have to say is bring a helmet when you play. The tee boxs on most the holes are just feet away from the greens on the other hole. SOOO if someone just miss hits a shot while ur on the tee box it could get painful. The course wasn't in bad shape but far from great shape. Front desk guy seemed like he hated his job to so it was a turn off from the start.

A stated, this is an oldy but a goody. Lots of nostalgia to go around. Recently sold (2007?) to one of those "golf companies" who seem to have taken the fun out of it in favor of the money. Still a very enjoyable course, and a good test for any level player. Just wish the staff enjoyed seeing everyone who comes to play, not just the regulars.
