Tampa, FL 33626-2203, United States
Built by the three founding partners of the Outback Steakhouse chain, Old Memorial is a Steve Smyers design that opened in November of 1997. Heavy bunkering and sculpted mounds are the chief feature here, yielding some more of a Pinehurst flavor than a traditional links design. Walking is mandatory except where medical conditions dictate.
Old Memorial's other facilities include an extensive practice area, a 17,000 square-foot clubhouse, and five well-appointed lodges that can accommodate up to 56 members and guests.
This is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of members.

Very private course...one of the best in Florida. Designed by Steve Smyers in almost a Mackenzie style, lots of bunkers, very strategic (you can bump and run onto each green...not just typical Florida target golf. Single loop caddie program is wonderful. By all means, if you can play, play it.
