Settindown Creek is a nationally ranked 18-hole championship golf course rated 13th "Best in State" for 2005-06 by Golf Digest and ranked 84th among "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" in 1997 by GOLFWEEK. Settindown Creek has been host of the Nike Tour Championship, U.S. Open Sectional Qualifiers, and the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship conducted by the United States Golf Association. Settindown has also been the scene of the Georgia State Match Play Championship, U. S. Senior Open Qualifier, and the Georgia State Open.
