Johns Creek, GA 30097-2499, United States

Atlanta Athletic Club was, for many years, the home course of the legendary Bobby Jones, who captured golf's Grand Slam in 1930 - a year and name memorialized in the club's street address. AAC is the best facility in Atlanta...and I've played every course in the Greater Atlanta Area. Both courses are immaculately maintained and beautiful. In addition, the entire compound is unparalleled. From the massive fitness center, to the high-end Spa, to the championship tennis facility, the pool complex, and the is all absolutely top notch. The dining at AAC is fact, the Marion Dining Room is probably the finest restaurant outside the perimeter. Sunday Brunch is a MUST. The golf courses and practice facility are incredible, but pair that with everything else and you have an absolutely fantastic club.

beautiful course. riverside may even be more scenic than highlands. both are tough courses, but playable.

I played college golf, but hung 'em up for about 12 years to focus on my family and children. Now that my kids are in school, I get to play again, and it is a GREAT pleasure to play at AAC (my husband and I joined last May). I have played some of the finest courses in the US as my father was a pro for a short time during the late 70's and I traveled with him on golf vacations when I was playing competitively in High School and College. These courses include Muirfield, Bay Hill, Seminole, Kiawah Ocean, Peachtree GC, Winged Foot, Bethpage, etc. AAC (both courses) is - in my opinion - right there with the courses I've listed. In fact, when we joined last May, I can say that I've never seen a course more perfectly manicured as AAC (aside from ANGC during the Masters - never played, but visited during Masters).
