Fred Enke offers golfers a different but interesting and challenging approach to golf course design.
The major features of the course are its vast teeing areas, large greens, strategic bunkers and sand traps, and most important of all, its concept as a semi-arid, limited turf course. Grass is used only on the tees, ball landing area, and greens, with undisturbed native plants comprising the remainder of the landscaping.
Because of its rather hilly terrain, golf carts are recommended.

Great place to play. fairways were great and the greens where better than most municipal courses. Lots of problem areas but not too dificult to get out of. But unless your a very low handicaper some extra golf balls are recommended.

A desert style public course. There is no rough to speak of; fairways or desert. Some blind shots, but the layout is a fair challenge for avg golfers (bring plenty of golf balls). The back tees are very tough, best left for the low handicappers.
