Gold Canyon Golf Resort

Two courses are part of this resort, located outside Phoenix. Dinosaur Mountain is one of the highest-ranked public-access courses in Arizona and features quite a few elevation changes and picturesque views of the Superstition Mountains, especially on holes 3 thorough 5. The seasonal rates range from $69 to $199; resort guest and twilight rates are lower.

Meanwhile, The Sidewinder 18 plays around the base of Dinosaur Mountain, with cacti, mesquite, and palo verde trees lining the fairways, with several natural arroyos and creek creekbeds in play. The seasonal rates range from $50 to $109; resort guest and twilight rates are lower.

Dinosaur Mountain was my favorite course on a Scottsdale trip I went on. We played TPC Stadium and both WeKoPa courses. The layout was awesome, scenery was gorgeous, conditions and greens were immaculate.
