With 4 sets of tees, The Sanctuary provides a challenge for all skill levels. The "links style" feel of the course features bent grass greens, tees and fairways with light to heavy fescue rough areas. 75 bunkers dot the course and water hazards come into play on 14 different holes.

You usually hear a rooster at the 1st part 3 (4rd hole?). 5 is a bear. After your drive you have a narrow slot through the trees to get to the green. Staff is great. One of my faves.

Hidden SW side gem. Challenging links like course. mostly open layout. 17 is a tough par 5. Played on a windy day into the wind. it felt like 600 yards. Course is pretty well kept. A lot of tall grass on many of the holes, makes this even more difficult for errant shots.

One complaint was the way the mowed the fairways. Half was cut with and half against the grain. It made the fairways hard to discern. They looked half the size staff was fiendly. Water stations were sparse. Bev cart service was sparse for a hot day.

great course, great greens, fairways and tee boxes are top notch. Tough course, especially in the wind. Under 30 bucks right now in March!

We play here all the time and it is well worth the money. It is not hard to find this course online for $30 w/ cart. It can be $59 on the weekends and I wouldnt pay that but I am frugal. Some challenging holes but holes 1, 2 and 4 allow you to score and you can get off to a great start. The back 9 is a little more challenging. My only complaints is that I wish they would open up the landing area on #5 because there is no place to put the ball. You could be in the fairway and have a blocked approach shot or have to hit a significant draw around the trees. If they trimmed that back about 20 feet it would be a great hole. 17 and 18 can be 2 very difficult finishing holes. 18 is the toughest tee shot on the course.

An enjoyable course to play. The course was in good shape and the tee shots were interesting. It is a very flat piece of property and some of the holes are a little boring.
