The North West National 18 hole course is set in 260 acres of quiet natural parkland with a heathland feel to parts of which native gorse grows throughout. Natural water features form part of the layout which brings wildlife to the forefront of this wonderful landscape.
Tight but fair well manicured and shaped fairways based on a well drained sand bed which should ensure all year round golf.
Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rates are £18 weekdays and £22 weekends.

Tough course to play, and being a long hitter is a distinct advantage.Very easy to find and the club shop is Clarkes and very well stocked that caters for adults and children male and female, also they have a pro club fitting station where you can test out clubs before purchase. The main course is or would have been excellent but for the disused practice ground and the half finished barn conversion after the 12th at the rear of the course. All in all a very good course to play and for it's faults which are few this course and complex is worthy of playing. £20.00 a round for this course in my opinion is not enough but you can't get better to test your ability anywhere within 5-8 miles of it....9/10.

Very tough course, not in great condition, especially bobbly greens. Buggy broke down on the 5th hole so we rang up to be told to leave it there! Had to ring them back and say one of the group couldn't walk properly before they begrudgingly brought another one to us.
