This was a really tough course to rate.
The price for the BIRTHDAY deal is AMAZING, and for that fact, I rated this a 5. If I had to pay normal price, I don't think it would be more than a 3. Pace of play was slow because of some of the difficult holes (especially the longer PAR3's - which there are 3 of on the front 9). Maintenance was pretty bad. Tee decks are a mess, the range was in shambles, and the greens are not that great... lots of cleat marks and burn damage. Hospitality here is amazing - the front desk staff and cart boys are very friendly. Scenery is decent. It's a wide open space but they have some nice trees and they utilize the little bit of water as much as they can. The shared fairway on 1 and 9 and the shared green between 9 and 18 are very nice. One final thing that annoyed me though was that on Par 5's the yardage markers are 250, 150, and 100. On Par 4's, the only yardage markers are 150 and 100. It's a bit annoying as it's so different than EVERYWHERE else I play.

*****EDIT (2012): the birthday deal is gone! This was replaced by a loyalty card, but for people like me that would travel from Toronto (2 hours) to play there, it's now not worth it. So sad.... My rating now drops significantly...
