FROM THEIR WEB SITE:
Taiyo, which translates literally to "the golf course of the sun," offers a spectacular golf experience that begins with par 5s to start the front and back nines, greens that are on average 75 percent larger than Awase's, a two-story clubhouse with a full-featured and well-stocked pro shop, and the new Lanai Restaurant and Finnigan's Bar.

Not a good course for amateur players or high handicappers, there is no second chance or forgiveness in this course at all, not one bit.
The Bull - 3/20/12
Had to give maintenance a low score due to the maturity of the course. I imagine it'll be as good as everything else in the near future. With that being said, this place has the potential to be the best military course to date. Well designed that'll make you use every club in your bag. Very scenic and very quiet. Holes are so spread out, it seems like your out there with the course to yourself. GPS system in the cart is unlike anything I've ever seen. Staff, appearance, facility, everything is fantastic. Range is short, but you figure out why once you play the course. You need to make good conservative shots. Huge risk reward course. If it's out, it's out. I imagine that the people that play there regularly, kill on other course because of the amount of control that is needed. What a treat!
Fergsauce - 4/5/11
Great course, GPS in carts with range data, low prices for military/DoD members. Greens were a bit dry, but it was early in the year (before the rainy season).
