Sea Pine Golf Course is located right on the beach and comes across like a tropical version of a Scottish links course. The pine trees from which the course takes its name are much in evidence, and together with the mountains and the ocean provide a stunning environment.

Sea Pine is a fine test of golf from any of the tee boxes. The course is set along the coast, some 7 kms south of Hua-Hin and has fine views of the mountains and the local buddhist temple which is situated high up on a hill in the distance to the north. The course runs inland after the first two holes, with a difficult par 5 3rd rated stroke index 1. There are plenty of water hazards that snake all over the course, with well bunkered fairways waiting to catch the wayward shots. You play inland before turning anti clockwise to return towards the coast from the 14th, which is a difficult par 4 - stroke index 2. The 16th is a beautiful dogleg right par 5 which brings you back to the sea shore (literally) before the finishing par 3 17th over water and the par 4 18th which demands a very good carry once again over water to reach the fairway, or you can lay up short. The course, which is run by the Thai Royal Military is now about 6 years old and has hosted the Asian Tour Qualifying rounds and proved its metal under these conditions, the pro's all rated the par 3's as 3.5's, being long off the Blacks at 7350 yards USGA COURSE RATING 75.2 Slope 131. The greens are very undulating and it is very rare to get a straight putt, so you better have your putting shoes on when you play here. This is one of the very few courses in the Hua-Hin area that does NOT suffer from lack of water; in fact sometimes it is over watered, so don't expect much in the way of carries on your fairway shots. The very modern and well equipped club house offers exceptional views from elevated terrace positions of the finishing hole and the sea shore views of the lovely 7km pine clad beach that runs south towards the Pranburi estuary. Almost invariably, you will find a gentle breeze blowing inshore towards the clubhouse Drinks are very moderately priced as is the food. The only negative I would say are the bunkers, which are not your fluffy sand type and you will have to adapt your sand wedge technique to contend with this. Everyone that I have introduced to this course have thoroughly enjoyed their golf and always want to return to play it again. Avoid playing at weekends if you can, as it can get very very crowded with Military players.
