The Ottumwa Country Club is a course of two tails - the front and the back are very different but equally challenging. The front nine (built in 1900) offer relatively straight and relatively flat holes with menacing treelines and small greens. The back nine (built in 1960) is quite the opposite, pleasantly complimenting the front, with much more changes in elevation, more water, and larger greens. The Country Club offers a driving range, a chipping green with sand, and a practice putting surface. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
