Nevel Meade Golf Club

Nevel Meade is a privately owned daily fee golf course offering yearly memberships, which include early tee time scheduling over the general public.

Patterned after the beautiful courses of Scotland, the rolling terrain, fresh water spring, century old trees along it's borders, deep bunkering, and large heather grass areas make Nevel Meade a picturesque place to challenge your golfing skills. Multiple tee boxes offer fun and challenges for all skill levels.

The tees on this course are crazy. There are no white tees. Black is considerable shorter than blue. The gold tees are the longest. There is a discrepancy between the USGA ratings for each tee and the scorecard/website. The USGA has the black and blue ratings swapped with black more difficult as one would expect them to be. This is incorrect.

My only compliant with the course is the lack of white tees. Black is too easy for me and blue is too hard. Hole #1 (par 4) is a good example, blue is 402 yards, black is 251.

This is a very fun course to play. It is more of a links style course and is very different than most of the courses in the area. A must play in the Louisville area.
