Bluffs Golf Resort, The

This Arnold Palmer design opened in 1988 and has received praise from tough critics, such as Golf Digest architecture critic Ron Whitten. Perhaps not surprisingly, it has also hosted several Louisiana State Championships, the SEC Championship, and a several other notable tournaments. The course stretches from 4,669 to 7,003 yards.

The standard rates (including cart) are $55/weekdays and $72/weekends.

Scenery is gorgeous. You dont even feel like you ar in Louisiana. The course is definitely getting back to prime condition. Some of the greens are still waiting for grass to totaly grow in. By the summer time it will definitely be worth the $72 green fee. I was also expecting a gps on the cart but when I saw there wasnt one I went ahead and bought the $2 yardage book which is accurate enough. Had a great time, jus wish I would have shot better! haha

overall it was awesome. the only problem is if you dony know your way around it is hard to navigate. No hole layouts so you just gotta hit blind sometimes. GPS would be really nice but the course is private and most prolly have skycaddies or just know by heart.
