Bowie Golf & Country Club

The Bowie Golf Course, located on the north side within the City limits of Bowie, Md., is an 18-hole golf course with mature trees lining each fairway.

course could use a little fixing up. Not a bad deal for the money, great beginner course. didn't like the fact that the course is not very well marked as far as "yardage to the green" go.

I play at Bowie a lot and find it a nice relaxing round of golf. The front and back nine are quite different and a joy to play. Most holes are lined with trees with low hanging branches. Keep it in the fairway or first cut and your good! Put it in the trees and you will need to punch out most of the time. The staff is friendly and so are most of the players. A $50.00 year membership will get you $32.00 a round with a cart and I think $15-$20 to walk depending on the day. Walkers get unlimited play for the day.
