8500 River Rd Bethesda, MD 20817-2635 www.CCClub.org 301.469.2032 This famous (and extremely exclusive) country club was founded by Representatives Oscar E. Bland and O.R. Lubring of Indiana in 1921. The Blue Course -- the one that has hosted the U.S. Open and the PGA Tour's Washington-area stop -- was originally designed by Devereaux Emmet and redesigned several times, most recently by Rees Jones. The Gold Course was also a Devereaux Emmet design, but was modified in 1977 by George Fazio and his nephew, Tom Fazio. Arthur Hills then oversaw a complete redesign in 2000. Course Details
