Eisenhower GC was the first public course in Anne Arundel County when it opened in 1969 with a design by Edmund B. Ault. The course plays from 4,884 to 6,659 yards over 220 acres of wooded terrain, which includes one large lake and several creeks.
The standard walking rates here are $31 Mondays through Thursdays, $39 Fridays, and $49 weekends and holidays. With a cart, those rates are $46, $49, and $56, respectively.
The course is owned by Anne Arundel County and currently operated by Billy Casper's golf course management firm.
Average Hole Difficulty
SteadyHoo - 7/11/14
Course with economical prices, but not a lot to recommend it. Traditional, hilly layout; a few interesting holes, but not in the best condition.
thehackingmurse - 8/15/13
Course was in bad shape. Bunkers were concrete and the greens were full of divots and patchy. Fairway was a little thin on grass in some places. Not worth $36 for twilight.
dsferris - 9/9/10
Played on 9/9/10. the course was in horrible shape. 15 out of 18 tee boxes were nothing but dirt/mud. The greens were gouged, cut up, and full of nastiness. They have a lot of nerve charging full price for that garbage. Then about the 13th hole the "marshal" came out and told us to pick up our pace, that we were not keeping up with the group ahead of us. What he didn't know is that when we made the turn and teed off there was a full open hole. So we obliged him and sped up a little and waited at every tee from then on. So glad we sped up to wait. Maybe he should have looked ahead of us before telling us we were too slow.
furrier - 6/6/08
I was rather unimpressed. Grass was too thin too many places in the fairways. Rough was fine, and greens were fine (smooth, perhaps slow). The driving range is rather cramped, with only about 8-12 tees.
