One of the finest golf courses in New England, The Country Club of Greenfield is comprised of 18 well selected holes which, while not too severe for the average player, present sufficient difficulties to make the playing of par 72 a splendid test of distance and accuracy for the best golfers. The fairways are well kept and the greens are mostly of the undulating type, which adds a certain charm to putting. The rough is not impossible , and penalizes players only as they should be for inaccuracy. The natural beauty of the course is equaled by few other links. It is a treat to play upon it, not only for the golfer, but for the lover of nature as well.
