This very attractive Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design opened with nine holes in 1978; the second nine debuted in 1987. Then in 2008, a major renovation was undertaken, during which 96 bunkers were reconstructed and the greens were stripped of poa annua and replaced with bent grass. The seaside links design is entirely appropriate for the location, on the ocean coast in Sonoma County.
The standard rates (including cart) are $60 on Mondays through Thursdays, $70 on Fridays, then $90 on weekends and holidays. NCGA, VIP, junior, and military discounts are available.

Awesome course. Can be windy, can be foggy. If you're having a rough time on the front nine, don't worry, the back side will make it all worth it.

I'm from FL and love my early tee times. Unfortunately at 7:20am in July I was unable to see the course until the 14th hole due to the fog. That's no big deal and nothing the course can control. The on-course maintenance crew was a nuisance, always in the way and running the machines during play. There is no driving range although there are hitting mats and nets. As others noted, the houses made the course feel really snug at times. However, I do recommend the course and hope someday that I get to play it again. Great layout, beautiful scenery, challenging course.

Great Course. Always love playing there. Front 9 is tougher with tighter fairways and more elevation changes. Back 9 is flatter and more open with super views - 16,17 and 18 are fantastic. 18 might be the best finishing hole around.

Bodega Bay is a nice track. It's a tale of 2 nines. The front nine is classic Trent Jones Jr. with a ton of mounds all over the fairway. It's like Volkswagen Beetles are buried under there. I personally am not a fan of that signature. The houses that line the rough are definitely a distraction.
The back is where Bodega Bay shines. The houses don't suffocate the fairways and the views of the Bay are absolutely stunning. The mounds are gone on the back. Holes 14 through 17 are awesome and make the course special. 16 is particularly sweet and is one of the top 10 best holes in Nor Cal.

Great hospitality. Unbelievable course and views. Very windy resulting in fast greens. My favorite course
