This course opened in 1999 with a design by Damian Pascuzzo and former PGA Tour star (and two-time major champion) Johnny Miller. In July of 2011, the club changed the order of the holes, which is reflected in the current scorecard.
Standard rates on weekdays range from $65 to $75, while the weekend and holiday rate is $85. Rental clubs, sliding twilight discounts, and memberships are also available.

Had a tournament there, not knowing the course. Even with a rangefinder, there were a few surprises, and at this time of the year, anything on the hillside gets captured by thick brushes and does not come back down in play. Hitting the right target is a must.
The greens were good (but multi-tiered and generally very difficult), but mostly ruined by scores of unrepaired ball-marks and people dragging their feet. Lots of areas are ground under repairs as the removal/reshapping of bunkers is complete but the course is not ready to play on these areas yet.
To make things worse, I had to suffer through an interminable 6 1/2 hours round, where the marshalls were unable (or unwilling?) to get the slow groups form tournaments ahead back into position. Just wanted to pack it in and go home...

This is a beautiful course but you really need to bring your A game and GPS. Local knowledge is very important. The course is very tight and hazards are everywhere. Hit straight and par can be had. Wayward shots will bring an easy bogey or worse. Definitely play the shorter tees your first time here. You will enjoy your round more.

Well maintained with good scenery. However, there were forced carries as well as lateral hazards/unplayable areas surrounding pretty much every hole. After 18 holes, I just wanted to head for the bar.

The course has some fairly tight landing areas and lots of lateral trouble. The key here is to really play the forward tees to have fun. I enjoy playing 6800 yards on traditional style courses, but I had fun playing from the white tees here at 6200 yards. It really made me pay attention to club selection on every tee shot. Having a rangefinder and/or GPS here is key. Knowing the distances to hazards is a must, especially because there are a few blind ones. This is not a walkable course.

I really like this course. It can be very difficult if you don't hit your targets, but when your on your game it is possible to shoot good scores. Its well maintained and has great views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Every hole has a unique personality and the course as a whole will test every aspect of your game. I never get bored playing here.
