Colonial Country Club (Jackson)

The Jackson course is one of the few remaining courses in the area to have no living quarters lining the fairways, so a variety of wildlife traverse the course.

For 54 years, Colonial's Jackson course has hosted the Norman Bryant Invitational, while the club has also hosted several men's and women's Mississippi State Championships.

The club also owns and operates a second course ("Deerfield"), located seven miles to the north in Madison.

As a member I am biased, however, I think Colonial is a great classically designed golf course. It's challenging, yet fair. If you hit good shots, you'll be rewarded. And if you don't, well, good luck breaking 100!
