This course is usually known by insiders as the "Cal Club" and dates to 1926. The course was originally designed by architect Willie Locke, but built by Arthur Vernon Macan. The course was redesigned / restored by architect Kyle Phillips in 2007. Golf Magazine currently ranks the Cal Club 58th in their list on top 100 courses in the United States.

Some of the best holes in all of the Bay Area. The fairways are receptive off of the tee box, but don't miss hit your approach for the bunkers are large and brutal! Everything is out in front of you, so what you see is what you get. I can play this course everyday. A private course gem.
