Canyon Lakes Country Club

Canyon Lakes Country Club in San Ramon is an 18-hole championship golf course, featuring spectacular vistas of Mt. Diablo and the San Ramon Valley.

This course has some interesting holes. Many of them are very spaced out (especially on the back) so you must take a cart. The course plays tight, so it is critical to keep the ball in the fairway.

Nice track. Good course to play on hot days as there is more shade here then on other courses in the area

Canyon Lakes is a cart mandatory course. The holes are fairly tight with a lot of doglegs. The fairway landing areas are fairly narrow and there is a plenty of trouble lining both sides of many of the fairways. The front 9 definitely has some fun and interesting holes (2,3,4,5,8). The back 9 has steeper elevation changes. The view of the valley from hole 17 is quite nice.
