Opened to the public in the summer of 1997, this 6,500 yard, par 71 layout offers something for everyone. Playing Tregaron is as thrilling as it is beautiful. The expansive undulating greens require a deft putting stroke.
Tregaron’s rolling rye-grass fairways with its well-placed mounds and pot bunkers lend a true "links style" look to the course. Natural wetlands, winding creeks and four scenic lakes further compliment this Craig Schreiner design. Water comes into play on nine of 18 holes. Tregaron is an enjoyable and challenging test of golf for players of all skill levels.
booboobear - 3/9/08 Whenever I have had the great misfortune to play in a fundraiser at Tregaron I have had nothing but regrets. The best thing I can say about Tregaron is they have a pretty good boxed lunch. There is nothing to look at on this course. Okay there is something to look at...houses. The trees appear to be half dead, as do the greens, as was my cart and don't get me started on the guy in the pro shop. I am pretty sure he could have used a couple of classes in customer care. I was in the pro shop for a good 25 minutes and he never even spoke to me, I am guessing his phone conversation was much more important. I'm not saying follow me around and kiss up to me but what about a "hey" or even a "whattup?". Never again
