Wentworth By The Sea Country Club
Private
Rye, New Hampshire - (603) 433-5010 www.wentworthbytheseacc.com
Etched out of the New England landscape, this genuine Scottish links style course presents challenges for all levels of play, while providing some of the most magnificent ocean views on the NH seacoast. Originally designed by the "father of New England golf", George Wright in 1897, the course was later improved by notable golf course architect Donald Ross in 1921, and expanded to 18 holes under Geoffrey Cornish’s direction in 1964. Today, we continue to make improvements to the course, enhance the Club’s amenities and develop its "family" appeal.
The dramatic landscape of the course, with undulating fairways and demanding water hazards makes Wentworth By The Sea Country Club an incomparable golf experience. The challenges of the course are unique to its original design and natural terrain, making it also, an enjoyable choice for charity tournament play. Hosting a number of golfing events throughout the season, a day of golf at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club is memorable for both its members and guests.
