There are multiple tee locations, fun-to-putt greens, an abundance of wildlife, constant courtesy cart service and great views everywhere!
Black Bear serves as the National Headquarters of the David Glenz Golf Academy and boasts a learning center that consists of 100,000 square feet of natural grass teeing area, multi-tiered synthetic launching stations, and a vast array of target greens and bunkers. This “state of the art”, all-weather academy complex opened April 1, 1998, and is the site of numerous Nike Golf schools. The academy building features classrooms for swing analysis and enclosed teachings bays… perfect for instruction or practice in all weather conditions.
Just footsteps away from the dramatic practice facility, is the spectacular 12,000 square foot Black Bear Clubhouse. The Black Bear Clubhouse features the Bear Den Grille that affords diners with a 180-degree view of the Hamburg Mountain range, as well as patio dining al fresco. Adjacent to the Grille, the Ballroom offers the perfect setting for weddings, parties, outings, or any special event. The expanded banquet facilities at the Black Bear Clubhouse have increased seating capacity to accommodate 250 people.
Black Bear epitomizes the “fun” golfing experience...being outside in a scenic environment, playing golf with friends and family, enjoying mouth-watering food and thirst-quenching beverages and being treated like a member by an always-courteous staff.
