Purdy, once a construction supervisor for Robert Trent Jones, Sr., has designed many outstanding courses in the Northeast. The Club was expanded to 36 holes in 1989 with the addition of the Meadow Course by renowned architect Brian Silva. The Forest Course was designed by celebrated golf architect Rees Jones and opened in 1994. Jones’ numerous honors include Golf Architect of the Year, Golf Digest Top Five Architects in America and in 2004 the prestigious Old Tom Morris Award.
