High Point Golf Club

This course plays around Holiday Lake and opened in 1966 with a design by architect Gerald C. Roby, although major renovations took place within recent years.

Great course for cheap. Nobody was out there today. Granted, it's early in the season on a Monday. But I sped around in under 3 hours. For early in the season the greens were in great shape. Lots of water in play, but a very scorable course. The par 3's can bite you as all 4 of them are 190+ yards. Great layout in my opinion.

Course is very long, even from the white tees. It has water in play on at least half the holes. Some fairways are very tight with homes on each side. Roads and cars come into play even, for conservative golfers. Price was good and midweek the course was almost empty.
