1 Coyote Creek Golf Dr
Morgan Hill, CA 95037-9052, United States

Here's a rarity - a club where *two* Jack Nicklaus-designed courses are open for public play.

The TOURNAMENT COURSE debuted in 1999 and features five tee-boxes that stretch the course from 5,184 to 7,027 yards. The terrain alternates between the lower slopes of the Diablo Range to more open land, while the risk-reward 18th hole has water along the right side. The standard rates (with cart) are $80 weekdays and $102 on weekends and holidays.

The carts make a high pitched tone which gave me a headache, it's a bit hard to navigate on your first visit there, grass driving range should be called sand dr, environmental protected area tests your ethical values when your ball is just a foot past your reach, 1st hole greet was really nice, the chix sandwich was surprising moist unlike most restaurants, greens are fast.

The Tournament course is definitely worth the time and money. The holes are varied, interesting, and challenging. The greens on the Tournament course were fast and true, as good as most country clubs.

The Valley course by comparison is flatter, straighter and far less punishing. The greens were slower and far less undulating than the Tournament course. I will NEVER pay full price for the Valley course, but they have a pretty great stay and play deal! $100 for both course, breakfast, lunch and a cart (this was on a weekday).

The tournament course is a great layout but the worst part of Coyote Creek are the greens. Its my biggest gripe with this hundred dollar course the muni type greens. Nice Clubhouse but overpriced green fees!

The Tournament Course is by far the more interesting course.

The Valley Course is pretty bland, with little trouble off of any of the tee boxes. Unlike other Jack Nicklaus designs, you can be a bit off with your approach shots and still have a decent chance for par.
