Cattails Golf Club

Built on a former 160 acre horse farm, the course was designed by John R. Williams and opened in 1991. The front nine travels through and around creeks and wetlands. The back nine is cut through a hard wood forest with a few wetland areas to navigate. At 6,472 yards (72.1/131 rating) the layout is not long but there are enough hazards to keep a golfer honest. Three alternate tees allow one to match the difficulty to one's game. Green complexes are modestly bunkered. The greens themselves are average in size and contour. Located between Ann Arbor and Livonia, take Beck road from I-96 or M-14 to 8 or 10 Mile, then Currie to Nine Mile.
